FREEDOM WORKS FOUNDATION
0Freedom Works Foundation was incorporated in 1999, as a nonprofit corporation in the State of Virginia. It’s founder, Tom Roberts a civil rights attorney wanted to push back the tide of diminishing freedoms and to rouse the public from its sleep.
The purposes for which the Corporation is formed, and the business and objectives to be carried on and promoted by it are, as follows:
- To encourage and assist Christians and others who are oppressed or persecuted in the free exercise of their faith;
- To identify and study the relevance of the foundations of freedom and truths in all phases of civil affairs;
- To study freedom’s foundations and its application to civil affairs and to life itself;
- To prepare, assist and educate attorneys and laymen alike in developing an appreciation for the foundations of freedom in law, and other spheres of influence and activity;
- To prepare, assist and educate attorneys and laymen alike in developing an appreciation for the role of a limited Government in preserving freedom and justice;
- To promote, assure and enhance freedom;
- To provide to the general public educational materials by the use, implementation and production of publications, media presentations, lectures, seminars and workshops in furtherance of the nonprofit purposes of the Corporation;
- To provide, in select situations, legal representation and/or support to effectuate legal representation that perpetuates the nonprofit purposes of the Corporation; and
- To enter into any kind of activity, and to make, perform and carry out contracts of any kind necessary to, or in connection with, or incidental to, the accomplishment of the nonprofit purposes of the Corporation.
