Biography:
Mr. Arthur joined the law firm as an associate in 2013.
He is fluent in Spanish and his practice includes civil litigation, civil rights, wills and trusts, contracts, business and commercial law. He also practices in the areas of criminal defense and constitutional law.
Mr. Arthur has successfully represented a number of clients in matters related to excessive use of force by law enforcement. He is known for his professional, aggressive and thorough approach to litigation.
He was admitted to practice law in Virginia in 2012. Mr. Arthur graduated with Latin honors from the University of Richmond School of Law. He finished in the top 15% of his class and was inducted into Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honors Society.
For his undergraduate degree, Mr. Arthur attended Virginia Commonwealth University where he earned a Bachelors of Arts in Philosophy, Cum Laude, and a minor in Spanish. While at Virginia Commonwealth University Mr. Arthur served as the President of the Virginia Commonwealth University Philosophy club and was a Julia Haley Latane Merit Scholar.
Prior to college Mr. Arthur enlisted for four years in the United States Marine Corps.
His interests include analytic and continental philosophy, camping, scuba diving, travel, playing guitar, and cooking.
